Knowledge is power. Let's educate ourselves.
As a parent of a teen who may be using drugs, you might feel powerless. However, there are things that you can do to help your teen. You have resources designed to help prevent and treat substance disorders, and to help bring awareness to paraphernalia that may be hiding substances and signs of these disorders.

With marijuana use and vaping on the rise among teens, it's important to be aware of the different paraphernalia associated with using these substances. THC, the mind-altering chemical in marijuana, is known to negatively affect the brain development of adolescents. Additionally, using nicotine in adolescence can harm the parts of the brain that control attention, learning, mood, and impulse control.
